Who I am Professionally

Long story short:
I’m an interior architect and illustrator working between Lisbon and Beirut.

Short story long:
I’ve been creating for as long as I can remember. It all started with drawing and painting at the age of four—hours spent exploring shapes, colors, and stories on paper. Over the years, that passion naturally grew into sketching and illustrating.

During my Interior Architecture studies at ALBA (Académie Libanaise des Beaux-Arts) in Beirut, I found myself drawn to every form of creative expression—sketching, photography, exploring materials and colors—anything that combined handwork and visuals. After graduating, I worked as a Designer with Najla el Zein Studio in Beirut, where I had my first experience with spatial interventions and storytelling on a larger scale.

I later pursued a Master’s degree at Elisava, Barcelona, focusing on interior design for workspaces and private perimeters. Throughout this journey, drawing remained a constant. I began sharing my illustrations on social media, which eventually led to the creation of my illustration page, mango_____unchained, through which I’ve collaborated with galleries and artists and participated in collective exhibitions. In parallel I started working in 2018 with MARIAGROUP, where I understood the true meaning of interior architecture and that ignited years of unlimited creativity, experimentation, learning and passion.

Today, I work as a freelance interior architect and illustrator, taking on projects that blend creativity and storytelling. I enjoy collaborating with designers and artisans to craft unique interiors, furniture pieces, object and illustrations with character and purpose.

For me, both illustration and interior architecture are simply two ways of telling a story. They’re both about visualizing an idea, a mood, or a concept and bringing it to life—whether on paper or in space—creating worlds that can be experienced and felt.
